How to Dissolve Bentonite

Bentonite is a type of clay formed from volcanic ash. It has numerous commercial uses, medicinal uses and is often used in beauty products. Bentonite contains the minerals montmorillonite and smectite and is commercially mined as two main varieties: calcium bentonite and sodium bentonite. Both varieties contain valuable properties of hydrating, swelling, and absorption that make it viable for a broad range of applications. These properties also enable bentonite to maintain its form during dissolution unless appropriate combinations of liquid and bentonite are used. The following instructions are for the complete dissolution of bentonite as may be used for digestive and/or colon cleansing.
