Instructions

    • 1

Align the top rail with the holes on the top of the air conditioner and secure with the screws supplied.

    • 2

Pull the accordion panel to the open position on the left sliding panel. Then slide it down the slot on the right side of the air conditioner unit.

    • 3

Align the arms of the panel with the top and bottom rails of the air conditioner. Then insert and push all the way in.

    • 4

Repeat Step 2 and 3 for the other side.

    • 5

Place the air conditioner into the window opening so the bottom is against the windowsill. Then lower the window so that it rests behind the top rail.

    • 6

Extend the right panel to the side of the window frame, taking care that it is aligned parallel with frame.

    • 7

Reposition the air conditioner so that it is pitched 5/16-inch to the rear. The panel is offset so that the air conditioner is at the proper pitch when the panel is aligned parallel with the window frame. This allows condensed water to drain out the rear of the air conditioner.

    • 8

Repeat Step 6 and 7 for the other side.

    • 9

Secure the side panels to the side of the window frame and sill with screws supplied. Drill pilot holes first to prevent the wood from splitting.

    • 10

Secure the top rail to the window frame with the screws supplied, taking care to drill pilot holes first.

    • 11

Cut and insert the supplied foam seals in the spaces between the upper and lower window sashes as well as any other openings.
