How to Make Shoes That Are Too Big Fit
When selecting footwear, always try to find shoes that fit your feet comfortably to avoid any unnecessary foot stress or pain. But if you're in a pinch and you just have to make those oversize shoes work, there are a few things you can do to make yourself more comfortable. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Buy a pair of full-shoe fabric or gel shoe insoles. Putting store-bought insoles into shoes that are a bit too large will help occupy some of that extra space and make your feet feel more comfortable.
-
2
Add an arch support. Adding arch supports to oversize shoes works much in the same way that the full-shoe fabric or gel insoles do. One of the biggest problems with wearing shoes that are too large is that your arches are not properly supported. Inserting arch supports takes care of that while filling extra space inside the shoe.

3
Wear two pairs of socks. Try wearing different weights of socks, such as wool camping socks and crew socks, in shoes that are much too large.
-
4
Buy a thick pair of heel grips. Heel grips are shoe accessories that glue into the heels of shoes to keep your heel from slipping up and down. Using heel grips can make shoes fit noticeably better.
-
5
Attach a tongue pad to the tongue of the shoe. Tongue pads use adhesive to attach to the underside of a shoe's tongue. They will help to fill some of the extra room as well.

Tips & Warnings
If you can't find the perfect fit when buying shoes, it's better to choose shoes that are slightly too large rather than shoes that are too small.
