How to Airbrush Computer Cases
If you want to add images to your computer case to make it stand out from the rest, airbrushing is a good way to go. You can make accurate images with bold colors.

The process
-
1
Remove the computer case from the computer. Just unscrew the half dozen or so screws that attach it to the CPU's frame and slide it off.
-
2
Clean the case with rubbing alcohol and a cloth. This will help the airbrush paint adhere to the surface of the case.
-
-
3
Find a picture of the image you want to transfer onto your computer case. You can print it out at the size you need for the final graphic.
-
4
Lay the frisket over the image and cut out the frisket where you want paint to affect your final work. Frisket is basically a stencil-like material that can be cut out to any shape you want. If your image has more than one color, you'll have to cut out a different sheet of frisket for each.
-
5
Apply the frisket to the computer case, layer by layer, and apply the paint over it, onto the computer case. Once you peel off the frisket, the paint should only be on the part of the image where the frisket was cut out.

Tips & Warnings
Wait for each layer of paint to dry before adding a new layer. Pick images that are very graphic, with no color variations or blending.
If you don't remove the case from the computer, there's a good chance that some paint or other wet substances can get inside the computer.
