Step 1
Your computer must be running the latest version of Internet Explorer (or FireFox) and Flash, and use Windows XP or later. You'll also need at least 100 megabytes of hard drive space to install the program, although you'll need more to download videos, and a broadband connection for optimal download speed.
-
Step 2
Close all other programs. As with any other installation, ensure that all non-necessary programs, such as word processors, are closed before installing Veoh Web Player.
-
Step 3
Download the program. Visit Veoh.com and click on "Web Player" at the very bottom of the screen. Click on "Install Veoh Video Compass" and save the file when prompted.
-
Step 4
Install Veoh TV. Double click on the file "VeohVideoCompassSetup_eng.exe" to launch the installer. Follow the steps in the installer, taking special note of the offer to install the Yahoo toolbar or other additional software. You can choose whether to install these add-ons during the Web Player installation. To download videos to Veoh TV, you must install the Veoh Compass add-on.
-
Step 5
Run Veoh TV. You'll see a small blue box with an arrow in your System Tray. Double click on this to open Veoh TV and view titles that are currently in your library or that are downloading. If you installed Veoh Compass with Veoh TV, you need to restart your browser before the option to download content appears.
