  • Zinc
  • Vitamin C
  • Chicken Soup
  • Warm Bath
  • Green Tea
  • Vitamin D
  1. Step 1

    Take plenty of sunshine. Take Vitamin D, 2,000 IU.

  2. Step 2

    Take Green tea supplements. People who take green tea extracts have a lower chance of getting flu or cold by 42%.

  3. Step 3

    Get 7 - 9 hours of sleep. Nix the night life.

  4. Step 4
     

    Curb your sugar. Load up on fruits as dessert.

  5. Step 5

    Zap a cold with zinc. Zinc helps fight infection. Take throat lozenges with zinc.

  6. Step 6

    Take extra Vitamin C - 600 - 100 mg daily.

    Eat plenty of chicken soup if you feel something coming on. Gargle with warm salt water (1 teaspoon of salt to 8 ounces of water) will ease mucus.

    Take a bath. A warm bath stimulates blood an lymph circulation and will help clear toxins. Add some eucalyptus essential oil to bath. Or take a shower alternating between 30 seconds of hot water and 30 seconds of cold water. Do this three times to jumpstart lymph circulation.
