Kids love stamping, and making their own stamps is even more fun. Foam stickers are a great, inexpensive stamping material that kids can easily work with. Find out how simple and entertaining this project is below.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A variety of foam stickers
  • A cereal box
  • Non-toxic colorful markers
  1. Step 1

Start out by taking your cereal box and cutting it into small squares about 2 inches by 2 inches. These will become the bases for your stamps. Spread them out on your children's craft table so that they can easily access them.

  2. Step 2

Next, pour a variety of foam stickers onto some paper plates and set them out with the box pieces.

  3. Step 3

To put the stamps together, just peel off the sticker backing and stick it onto the box piece. Most age groups are able to do this on their own, but you probably don't want to try this project with children under kindergarten age.

  4. Step 4

To use the stamps, color on the sticker with non-toxic markers. Once colored, flip over the stamp and press it onto a blank piece of paper. You should end up with an image of your stamp on the paper. You can then draw details if you want. For instance, if you stamped a horse silhouette, you might want to draw in the horse's eyes and mouth.

  5. Step 5

This project is extremely simple, but very fun. I hope you enjoy!
