You will learn how to make white rice with butter, garlic and ginger. This rice is very easy to make and it tastes very good, it is very kid friendly and is enjoyed by all those how enjoy white rice, you can also make this rice with brown rice, you just need to follow the brown rice cooking directions that come with the brown rice bag for cooking time.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 cup of long grin rice
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt or to taste.
  • 1 quart pan
  1. Step 1

    get one quart pan add the rice and two cups of water bring to a boil

  2. Step 2

    add the rice to the rapid boiling water

  3. Step 3

    stir in the salt the minced garlic, minced ginger and let the rice come back to a rapid boil once it has come to the rapid boil, bring it down to a low simmer and simmer covered for 20 minutes.

  4. Step 4

    once the rice is done add the butter on top of the rice and cover up a few minutes. Once your ready to serve fluff it up with a fork. You can uses this with any meal You can omit the Ginger if you don't like ginger

Tips & Warnings
  • You can also add a few scallions to the finished rice for color and taste.
  • Make sure your not allergic to any of the ingredients.
