Shrinky Dink designs can be created by drawing on the rough side of a sheet with either colored pencils or Sharpies. You can also purchase special Shrinky Dinks that can go through an inkjet printer. Keep in mind that your design will shrink to about 1/4 its original size.

Draw or print your designs on your plastic sheets. Use a hole punch to create any jewelry finding holes when you are done. Cut around the images until they are completely cut out. You might also want to use a utility knife if you want to cut out any interior spaces.

  3. Step 3

Now you will need to heat your toaster oven to around 325 degrees farenheit. Lay your images, colored side up, on a flattened brown paper bag. Place them in the toaster oven and watch as the designs shrink and harden.

  4. Step 4

Remove your designs once they are done shrinking. Let them cool down and then you might want to coat them with clear nail polish to keep the designs water-resistant.

  5. Step 5

Finish off your jewelry by attaching the earring hooks or a jump ring to attach it to the necklace. Now you can wear your own designs on your ears and neck. Enjoy!
