Nude nail polish should be a staple in every girl’s beauty supply because it basically goes with everything. Darker shades tend to show chipping quicker than lighter shades and this means you will have to perform maintenance on your nails to fix the flaws more often than if you had a lighter shade nail color. Using a nude nail polish adds a clean and fresh look to nails. Some nude shades can help elongate your fingers and compliment your skin tone.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

If you have dark skin, you have red undertones. Look for nail polish shades that accentuate the red undertones which are cool such as a deep caramel or warm copper and brown shade.

  2. Step 2

If you have medium skin, you have gold undertones. Look for nail polish shades that are pink. Pale and sheer pinks look great on people with medium skin tones.

  3. Step 3

If you have fair skin, you have red undertones. Look for nail polish shades that will help counteract the red undertones such as anything creamy or opalescent beige.

  4. Step 4

Wearing a nude nail polish will help camouflage the inevitable chipping that occurs after a few days which can extend the time of having to add a fresh coat. This will simplify one beauty ritual for that busy girl.

Tips & Warnings
  • Stick with nail polish that are toxic free such as OPI, Revlon, and Zoya nail polish.
  • Avoid nail polish that contains toxic ingredients such as toluene, formaldehyde, and dibutyl phthalate (DBP).
