How to Delete the Update History in Vista

Deleting the update history in Windows Vista can allow you to remove a wealth of kilobytes from your computer that are hogging your memory. Deleting these history updates will not affect the running of your programs but will allow you more memory space for other programs. The update history in Vista can be deleted by itself, or it can be emptied along with other idle files in the program.

Instructions

1. Launch your browser and click the "Tools" menu on the upper tab.

2. Click "Delete Browsing History" in the pop-up menu.

3. Click "Delete All" if you want to delete all of your old Windows files, or click "History" if you only want to delete the history on Vista, including the update history.

4. Click "OK" in the following pop-up box to confirm your choice. Your update history on Vista will now be deleted from the computer.
