Microsoft FrontPage makes it easy for just about anyone to create, manage and publish a website. Simply gather your images and content and begin designing the layout of your pages. Bring your site together by creating page links that allow users to navigate within your site or create links to external sites that add value to your content.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Highlight the text or image that you would like to become the link. Hold down the left mouse button and run the mouse over the text or image.

  2. Step 2

Click "Insert" and then "Hyperlink" from the top menu in FrontPage.

  3. Step 3

Type the URL that you would like to link to in the Address field. The link can be an internal page of your website, an external website or an email address. Select the type of link under the "Link To" property of the "Insert Hyperlink" window.

  4. Step 4

Click the "Target Frame" button to define how the link will load. You can choose to have the linked site open in the same window or in a new window.

Tips & Warnings
  • When typing the URL address of a link, make sure that you have included the full address including "http://www."
