Instructions

    • 1

Cut the front and back panels for your enclosure. Cut each panel from MDF to the dimensions of 14 by 12 inches.

    • 2

Use your subwoofer as a template. Cut an opening, centered in the front panel, for the subwoofer. Cut an opening in the back panel for the terminal cup. Use the cup as a template. Center the opening 2 inches from the bottom edge of the back panel.

    • 3

Cut the top, bottom and side panels for the enclosure from MDF. Make the top and bottom dimensions 12-1/2 by 10 inches and the side dimensions 12 by 10 inches.

    • 4

Assemble the top, bottom and side panels into a hollow box, with the side panels overlapping the joints of the top panels. Line the pieces up, apply wood glue to the surfaces to be connected. Screw together using wood screws.

    • 5

Screw the front and back panels onto the assembly from step 4. Put the pieces together with wood glue and wood screws.

    • 6

Attach a 13-inch length of speaker wire to the terminals of the subwoofer. Feed the wire into the opening for the subwoofer, through the box and out of the opening for the terminal cup. Place the subwoofer into the opening in the front panel. Screw it in place with wood screws.

    • 7

Attach the wire leads to the back terminals of the terminal cup. Place the cup in the opening. Screw it into place with wood screws.
