How to Download Songs From IMEEM Using Firefox
IMEEM is a social networking website centered around multimedia such as videos and music. Members can upload songs and allow other members to listen to them and download them. Optional Firefox plugin software adds streaming download functionality to the web browser to let individuals download IMEEM songs with a single click.

Launch the Firefox web browser. Close all open browser tabs and windows other than the tab that you are currently using.

Click "Tools" in the top menu bar and select "Add-ons" from the drop-down menu. A new window will appear listing the add-ons that you have currently running in the browser.

Click the "Get Add-ons" button on the left side of the window. A search bar will be displayed. Type "Video DownloadHelper" in this search box and press "Enter." The add-on will be listed on the top of the window.

Select "Video DownloadHelper" from the list, and click the "Add to Firefox" button. The browser will connect with the Mozilla Firefox server and pull up the installation file. Click "Install Now" to have the browser automatically integrate the add-on into your browser. Follow the on-screen prompts to restart Firefox.

Navigate to the IMEEM website (see "Additional Resources," below, for the link). Go to the IMEEM page that has the song you wish to download. Click "Play" on the IMEEM site.

Look in the top navigational bar in Firefox, next to the address bar. There will be a small button that spins whenever you are playing a song. This notifies you that the add-on you installed in Step 4 has sensed a song that you can download. Click the menu arrow next to the button and select "Download." Firefox will then download the song from IMEEM. This may take several minutes depending on the speed of your Internet connection.
