Things You'll Need:
- Dechlorinated Water/ Regular Water W/ Stresscoat
- Rock
- Plants
- Clean Rag
- Bubbler
-
Step 1
If are have just purchased a fish bowl, the first thing that you will need to do is clean the fish bowl. You will want to wipe out the inside and outside of the fish bowl with a clean rag and then rinse off the bowl.
-
Step 2
You can then dry the bowl off, to make sure you don't get waterspots on the outside of the fish bowl.
-
Step 3
You will now want to add your gravel/ rock to the fish bowl. Make sure to rinse out the substrate before adding it to the fish bowl. One small bag of pebbles or rock will be more than sufficient for the fish tank.
-
Step 4
Clean off a decoration that you would like to place in the fish bowl. I would use a decoration that the fish can use for protection. If a fish does not feel as if it has a place to hide, it can become stressed out and might come down with an illness. I would suggest purchasing a real plant or artificial plant to place in the fish bowl.
-
Step 5
Now you can fill up your fish bowl with dechlorinated water. You can use purified water/ bottled water or you can use regular tap water and add in stress coat, which will remove the chlorine from the water.
-
Step 6
Once the temperature is the same as the habitat that your fish is currently in, you can add your fish into the fish bowl.
