Make a Perfect Cosmopolitan

So you want to drink alcohol and you need to make a cosmopolitan? There are many alcoholic drink recipes, but here is my personal recipe for the perfect cosmopolitan. There are also some optional ingredients you can use.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

cocktail shaker
1.5 oz Vodka
1 oz triple sec or orange juice
3 oz cranberry juice
1 oz lime juice
lime wedge (optional)
sugar (optional)

Step 1

Pour sugar onto a cookie sheet. Take your martini glasses and dip them in the sugar to create a nice sugar rim on the glasses.
Step 2

In your cocktail shaker mix the vodka, triple sec (or orange juice), cranberry juice, and lime juice. Orange juice will make your cosmopolitan alcohol drink lighter, but triple sec will make it somewhat sweeter.
Step 3

Pour the cosmopolitan recipe mixture into your martini glasses. Most people prefer to have no ice in their alcohol drink.
Step 4

Take a lime wedge and slide it on the side of the martini glass. You could also use a strawberry or other fruit. Get creative if you wish.
Step 5

Drink and enjoy your homemade cosmopolitan alcoholic beverage.
