Make A Homemade Chocolate Milkshake

Making a homemade chocolate milkshake is really easy to do. Chocolate milkshakes can be a great snack for you and your family and can be made with the kids.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 4 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 c. small ice
  • 4 tsp. chocolate syrup
  • whip cream (optional)
  • cherry (optional)
  1. Step 1

Place each of the ingredients into the blender except for the two optional ingredients to begin making your homemade chocolate milkshake. The whip cream and cherry are extra additions and are optional.

  2. Step 2

Close the blender lid and blend for about a minute. The homemade chocolate milkshake should be thick and dense by now, if the desired thickness is not met, add more ice cream.

  3. Step 3

Empty the homemade chocolate milkshake into glasses. Simple clear glasses always look nice if you want to make your chocolate milkshake look tasty.

  4. Step 4

Put whip cream on top of the milkshake. You can even spring a little cinnamon or use candy sprinkles on top for an even tastier appearance.

  5. Step 5

To complete your homemade chocolate milkshake finalize it by adding a cherry on the top. You could also use a strawberry instead.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can use extract instead of chocolate syrup for your chocolate milkshake for example strawberry, orange, banana, etc.
  • Get creative. Don't be afraid to add fruits or candies.
  • Play with the amount of ice cream you use in your milkshake and ice you use until you get the flavor and density that you like best.
