1. The first step is you must find a carier to supply you with the reciever and programming. There was two major companies that provide these services and that is Sirius and XM satellite radio. These vary because XM is more on its sports and Sirius has many talk shows along with both of them having a wide range of music. The price tag for monthly subscription is around 10 dollars per month.

2. Next after you buy the reciever you will have to install this or have a technology specialist help you on this. Some systems are easier to install depending on the type of car or model. Some will require dash kits or a mount bracket.

3. Once the reciever is installed you can go on sirius.com or XM.com to find which package is best fit for you. You then simply choose your package and lineup of your choice.

4. The last step in to pay for your subscription with a credit card or other banking card. The programming will be available within a short time afterword.
