Things You'll Need:
- Drawstring bag or backpack to put items in
- VARIES BY AGE AND GENDER:
- Personal letter from you
- Activity books
- Stationery
- Pens and Pencils
- Journal
- Card games
- Lotion
- Sunblock
- Sunglasses
- Bandanna
- Small stuffed animal or pillow
- Disposable camera
- Autograph item (book, or picture frame)
- Permanent marker
- Non-perishable food items (if allowed)
-
Step 1
Find out ahead of time if you can send items to your kids at camp. If you can, make sure you know the types of things they allow you to send, like food.
-
Step 2
Know the address to send your care package. This may seem silly, but have this information available for when you go to the post office to send your package.
-
Step 3
Start loading you bag or backpack up with the items you chose to send to your child's camp. If you know your child gets homesick easily, make sure to send something small from home that smells like you or your home.
-
Step 4
Go to the post office and have your care package sent! You can either get a box there or bring in your own and have it weighed and pay for postage. Your package is now on it's way!
