Make your own custom camp care package!

If your son or daughter is attending any camp this summer, why not send them a custom care package full of items they can use? You can personalize your care package to your child's favorite likes and activities. The possibilities are endless!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

Drawstring bag or backpack to put items in
VARIES BY AGE AND GENDER:
Personal letter from you
Activity books
Stationery
Pens and Pencils
Journal
Card games
Lotion
Sunblock
Sunglasses
Bandanna
Small stuffed animal or pillow
Disposable camera
Autograph item (book, or picture frame)
Permanent marker
Non-perishable food items (if allowed)

Step 1

Find out ahead of time if you can send items to your kids at camp. If you can, make sure you know the types of things they allow you to send, like food.
Step 2

Know the address to send your care package. This may seem silly, but have this information available for when you go to the post office to send your package.
Step 3

Start loading you bag or backpack up with the items you chose to send to your child's camp. If you know your child gets homesick easily, make sure to send something small from home that smells like you or your home.
Step 4

Go to the post office and have your care package sent! You can either get a box there or bring in your own and have it weighed and pay for postage. Your package is now on it's way!
