Instructions

    • 1

Place the finished jigsaw puzzle picture side up on a sheet of wax paper. Wax paper is the easiest surface on which to glue the finished puzzle. Wax paper won't peel the backing off of the puzzle like newspaper or cardboard will.

    • 2

Dip your brush into the bottle of decoupage glue and apply an even coat of the glue on the back of the jigsaw puzzle. Apply the brush strokes in the same direction. The glue goes on white, but dries clear.

    • 3

Allow the glue to dry. Apply a second coat and allow it to dry.

    • 4

Peel off the wax paper. The puzzle is now ready for framing.

Tips & Warnings

  • If building a jigsaw puzzle is a hobby of yours, I have included some jigsaw puzzle sites that have beautiful and unique puzzles for sale. Each website offers a wide variety of puzzles that will fit in with every decor and style of your home. Enjoy!!!

  • Mod Podge can be found at any craft store like Hobby Lobby or Michael's.

  • If you are not planning on framing the jigsaw puzzle right away, store the puzzle where it can lay flat. Storing the puzzle upright will cause it to warp.
