A quick and easy way to enjoy eggs anytime!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • glass or ceramic microwave-safe dish
  • potholder or towel
  1. Step 1

Break the desired number of eggs into the glass or ceramic microwave-safe dish. Add salt and/or pepper and other seasonings, if desired. Beat the eggs thoroughly with a fork or whisk.

  2. Step 2

Place the dish in the microwave, and cook for one minute on high. Eggs may puff up while cooking, but they will shrink back down when you remove them.

  3. Step 3

Remove the dish, re-scramble the eggs (they will still be slightly runny). Cook in the microwave for another minute. Remove carefully with a towel or potholder, the dish will be very hot.

  4. Step 4

One or two eggs should be done at this point. More eggs will require more time. Just cook until the eggs are no longer runny.

  5. Step 5

Break apart with a fork for traditional scrambled eggs, or leave in the mass and put on toast or a bagel for a delicious egg sandwich!

Tips & Warnings
  • Remember that the dish will be very hot, take care not to burn yourself.
  • Be sure to always thoroughly cook eggs.

on 9/29/2009 I started doing this to eliminate using so much oil and to save time. I love them with cheese too! Thanks for the write up. 5*s
