How to Make Movies With QuickTime Pro

If you want to make your own movies, you need a good video editor with which to do this. The following article will show you the basics of creating a movie in QuickTime with QuickTime Pro by importing a series of stills and making a slideshow movie.

• QuickTime Pro program
• QuickTime Player
• Photo stills

Instructions

1. Place your images onto your hard drive either by scanning them in or importing them directly from your camera via a USB port. Place all the images in a folder. Number the photos, starting from 1, in the order you want them to appear in the movie.

2. Open QuickTime Pro. Go to "File," then "Import," and click on "Image Sequence."

3. Browse to the folder to which you saved the numbered images, and select it. QuickTime will now import the images as a sequence into the time line.

4. Go to "File" and then "Export Movie." Select the particular settings you want to use (which are impacted by how you intend to display the movie). Click "Save."

5. Right-click on the file you created. Select "Open With" and choose the QuickTime Player to view your movie.
