Look at the face of the Fossil watch. Determine if it is completely analog, which means there is only one dial and no digital features; completely digital, meaning there are no hands; multifunctional, with more than one dial; or a combination of analog and digital. To set each of these watch types, please utilize the respective steps below.

2
Set an analog watch. Find the crown (the large metal dial) on the right side of the watch's face. Pull it all out to the right as far as it will go. Turn it counterclockwise until the hands show the correct time. Then, push it back in to its original position. If you did this correctly, the hands will start moving again. If not, you need to push it in further.

Press A to move the month selections forward until you get to the right one. Press B again to lock it in. Continue this same procedure to set the date and the time, pressing B twice again to get started. First, set the hours and then the minutes. When you press B, the current time will flash to indicate the watch is working correctly.

Set a multifunctional watch. Pull out the crown in a similar fashion to setting an analog watch, but this time turn it clockwise. Both the hands on the main dial and the hands on the 24 hour dial will turn. Stop when both are correct. Once you've finished, push the crown all the way in and then pull it out halfway. Turn it clockwise until you see the correct date displayed. Then, push it back in.

Tips & Warnings
Don't stop in the middle of setting a digital watch. If you leave the watch idle for too long, it will revert to the original time display and you will have to start over.
Since Fossil has many different watch models, your watch's design may be slightly different from the ones described. For example, the buttons may be on the left instead of the right. Check Fossil's website for specific instructions for your watch type.
