It's embarrassing when someone discovers your stinky shoes. To eliminate the odor inside your shoes, you can use a variety of products that take awhile to do the trick, or you can wash them with bleach and let them dry while baking soda or carpet deodorizer works magic on them.   • Clean tube socks
  • Baking soda or carpet deodorizer

Instructions

      Remove the laces and wash the shoes, if they're machine washable. Use bleach on white shoes. If the shoes aren't washable, scrub the inside of them with a little laundry detergent or dish washing liquid and a toothbrush.

      Pour baking soda or carpet deodorizer into each of the tube socks and knot them at the ends or tie them to each other, so the powder can't spill into the shoes.

      Put a tube sock inside each shoe and allow the shoes to dry outside in the sun.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can put Odor-Eaters or new inner soles inside of your shoes to help eliminate the bad smell in your shoes.
