Making money during a recession or a tough economy can be very hard, but there are ways. Here are a few options to make more money.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Look to the internet.
There are many great ways to make money through the internet. Ehow is a great example. By writing articles about things you know you can increase the amount of money you make each month. But ehow is not the only way to make money online. There are countless ways, with new ones surfacing each day. When you are choosing one, be sure that it is a legitimate way to make money. You don't want someone to steal your identity or bank information.

  2. Step 2

    Playing the stock market.
Even if a economy is rough there are still places in the stock market to make money. Even if it is buying puts for certain stocks. That way even if a stock goes down you will make money. The more the stock decreases (and the quicker) the more money you will make. Be careful when buying and selling stock options though, they do have an expiration date. So make sure you have sold yours before it expires.

  3. Step 3

    Further your education.
Even if you do not have a degree, now would be a great time to get one. So even if at the time a company is not hiring, you will be furthering your education. Then when you have gotten your degree the economy may have stabilized and you have a better chance of getting a job over someone who has not. This does not just mean college, but anything to make yourself more valuable to a company.
