Things You'll Need:
- your website address (URL)
- computer
- A keyboard

Step 1
In your web browser, type "http://www.google.com/addurl/"
This will take you to a google website where you can submit your own website to google directly. -
Step 2
Type in your web address to the "URL" box on this page.
You only have to add the most high level page in your website. For example, you only have to add "http://.stepya.com" instead of "http://stepya.com/2009/05/12/40-useful-and-creative-infographics"
(optional) You can also type in additional comments about your website. Try to keep these a single word and you can separate them by commas. These will help with Google to index based on content. -
Step 3
Press "Add URL" at the bottom of the page.
After a few days google will begin to crawl your website and add it to its list of websites. Congratulations! You are now a website that will be used in google's search! -
Step 4
See You can also do this for other search engines (like yahoo, etc)!
