Things You'll Need:
- A computer
- a Charity/non-profit
-
Step 1
Once your charity or non-profit organizations has non-profit status, you need to start by signing up an account with www.IDonateTocharity.org. They are the only Free online charity Auction Site I know of.
-
Step 2
Once your site is review and your non-profit status is verified, you are ready to design your store front.
-
Step 3
Your store front is your main auction page with a dedicated link that you can place on your website to send visitors to view your auction. Once your store front is complete, you will be able to run online auctions, run online raffles, sell event tickets and open donation pages. Best part, all this is free.
-
Step 4
Now that your account is set up and you designed your store front, you need to go out and find auction items. Most charities and non-profits have a list of contributers that have donated items in the past. You want to contact as many as you can to get auction items donated. If you can only get a small amount of auction items, IDonateToCharity.org has team up with a fundraising wholesaler that will drop ship auction items to your buyers door. You only have to pay for the items after they sell.
-
Step 5
When listing your items, you will have three choices on where to list them, "Site", "Store" & "Both". "Site" means your items are listed on the ITDC main site and in your store. If you have the ability to ship your item, List your item in "Both" your store and main site. IDTC receive thousands of visitors looking to buy products from charities.
-
Step 6
Once all you items are listed, you want to post your store link everywhere so people will view your items. Once your like is out for the world to see, you can sit back and wait for bids.
-
Step 7
Happy Bidding!!!
