1
Hit the weight room. Your jumping power comes from your legs so you need to strengthen them. Do calf raises and squats to hit the primary muscles involved in jumping.
-
2
Stretch daily. If your muscles are relaxed they will be able to exert more energy. Tightened muscles are not as efficient as loose ones. Stay on your toes when you are standing. This will help strengthen your calf muscles. Jump rope. This will help your muscles to recover quickly after exerting energy.

Make sure to give your legs enough rest between workouts. Nothing is worse than worn out legs when you are trying to play basketball or any other sport.
-
4
Practice jumping. Focus on each part of your jump. Make sure that you are using not only your leg muscles, but your abs. Abs play a major part in your ability to jump. If you don't have a strong core, you will not be able to jump to your full potential.

Try different jumping workouts. Some of my favorites are the box jump, lunge jump, and explosive jumping. Do a quick google search to learn these different methods.
