Instructions
  1. Step 1

In order to save money on grocery bills there are several tricks you can follow. Here are the ways to do it..

  2. Step 2

Go generic for all your produce, produce is the same whether it says a major name brand or not, the apple is still and apple at the end of the day. When you buy your salads to do buy the pre packaged variety, you are paying a premium for the convenience. Buy everything whole and then cut it up yourself, you can save a substantial amount of money this way. if you are not going to buy fresh then buy frozen foods, not canned. The frozen food has a lot more nutrients and will last longer as well.

  3. Step 3

The same idea goes for buying meats and poultry. Instead of buying a chicken that is pre cut, cut the pieces up yourself and buy the whole bird, again it is more convenient to buy the pre cut but you pay higher premium for that convenience.

  4. Step 4

For milk you can buy generic, it is the same product just without the big name. If you want to buy cheese at the deli counter get a block of cheese that is unsliced and slice it up yourself at home. In general you will pay $1.50 more per pound when the cheese has been sliced up for you. These are the ways that you can save money on grocery bills every month.
