Things You'll Need:
- gummy worm and or gummy bug candy
- plastic treat bags
- ribbon
- bug stickers
- labels or gift tags
-
Step 1
Party Favor Bug ThemeStart by filling each bag, according to how many guests you are having with assorted gummy bug candies. I did gummy worms and gummy ladybugs!
-
Step 2
Party Favor Bug ThemeNext, tie each bag with coordinating ribbons to dress them up. You could be as fancy as you want to. If there are specific colors for the baby shower that you are working with for balloons and table cloths for example, you may want to use ribbons that complement the rest of the decorations for the shower.
-
Step 3
Party Favor Bug ThemeNow, arrange bug stickers on the front of the bag as shown in the picture. I went and bought higher end stickers that are raised off of the bag and do not lay flat. They made the favors look a little more fancy. Look in the sticker and scrap booking isles at your local craft store for a great selection to choose from.
-
Step 4
Party Favor Bug ThemeThen, affix a label that is not adhesive to the ribbon. You can use a hole punch to make a hole and tie the label or gift tag to the baby shower favor. There are excellent personalized stationary stores online that will custom make labels and gift tags that you may want to splurge on! Or, hand write them with a thoughtful message. For this theme we wrote "Thank you for coming to our shower and welcoming our little bug into the world!" Great idea, right?? You can come up with your own phrase to for the message to your guests that is catchy like this one. Then, incorporate it into the rest of the shower!
-
Step 5
Party Favor Bug ThemeRemember, a bug theme can be used for a boy or girl! Have fun with it!
