This is a recipe to make the tastiest Summer Sausage in the U.S.. This is a great recipe from the ages that will WOW you every time you make it!! It is quick and easy to serve. Add cheese and crackers and you have one the tastiest snacks on earth.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 5 lbs. Hamburger Meat
  • 5lbs. Morton Tender quick salt
  • 1 1/2 TSP. Garlic
  • 2 tbsp. mustard seed
  • 2 tsp. Liquid Smoke seasoning
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Lawreys Seasoned Salt
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. pepper
  1. Step 1

    Mix the hamburger meat and salt first. Then you can add all other ingredients and give it a good mix. Cover and refrigerate for 3 days mixing well each day.

  2. Step 2

    When the 4th day comes mix very well and form into rolls.

  3. Step 3

    After you have formed your mix into rolls you need to place in oven on broiler pan and preheat oven to 300 F. Bake for 1 hour and turn over once about halfway into baking time. Once sausage is done you can cut it into slices or store in freezer if you don't want to consume at that time.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure hamburger meat is not too lean.
