Instructions

    • 1

Wipe down the countertop with a rag soaked in warm water. This will remove any surface issues, spills and general dirt and grime. Never use abrasive materials to clean your Carrera marble, or it will get scratched and permanently damaged. If you need to scrub the surface, use increased pressure to remove the substance.

    • 2

Clean the counter with a mild, non-fat detergent (like Windex). Spray the entire counter, then let it sit for about 60 seconds before you wipe it down. You can use the same damp rag or a new dry one. A dry rag will lift up any additional grime more effectively than the wet one.

    • 3

Make a paste of peroxide and whitening powder (which is sold in paint stores) to lighten any stains on your counter, and sometimes completely remove them. The longer you allow the stain to sit, the darker it will become.

    • 4

Rinse down the entire area with warm water once again. If you like, you can spray it, but it will be just as effective to wet a new, clean rag with warm water.

    • 5

Dry the counter with a clean, soft rag. This will give your counter a bright shine and eliminate streaks and spots.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do not use oil soap on your Carrera marble, or it will darken the stone.
