How to Host a Book Exchange

If you'd like to get rid of some of your old books and swap them for new ones, hosting a book exchange might be the best way to do it. It's a good way to combine good books, good friends and good food.

Instructions

1. Choose up to 10 friends and send each an invitation. Try using an online site, such as Evite. It's fast, easy and free.

2. Tell each of your friends to bring a minimum of 5 books. Make sure they bring an assortment of fiction, non-fiction and reference.

3. Serve a selection of drinks and appetizers before you begin.

4. Arrange the books on your dining room table so everyone can browse.

5. Give each guest a piece of paper that states how many books they brought. This number will be the most amount of books they may swap.
