One of the most common complaint amongst women is their arms. Women naturally store more fat in their arms than men do. While there are no exercises that will make you lose fat in only the arms, there are exercises that will give the arms a more toned look.

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Put your hands together palm side down on the ground. Position your hands so the tips of your forefingers as well as your thumbs are touching, making a sort of diamond shape. Keep your hands in this position and do as many push-ups as you can. Make sure your nose is touching the center of the diamond each time you go down. If it is too difficult, you can do this with your knees are on the ground. Do this at least two times a day.

  2. Step 2

Find a sturdy surface, such as a table or a counter. While facing away, place the heels of your hands on the edge of the surface. Keep your hands in place and slowly walk forward about 2 feet to the point that you are supporting your weight with your hands. Slowly lower your body with your arms and push yourself back up. Repeat this action 10 to 15 times. Do three sets of this every day.

  3. Step 3

Hold a dumbbell with both hands behind your head. Your elbows should be at a 90 degree angle or less. When in this position, slowly lift the dumbbell straight up and then lower it back down to the starting position. The dumbbell should be light enough that you can repeat the process 20 to 30 times.

  4. Step 4

Exercise all parts of your body. Remember, you cannot target specific areas for weight loss. Aerobics will get your heart rate going and will burn calories quickly. Strength training all of your muscles will help. The more muscle mass you have, the more calories your body naturally burns.
