  • Raw wool
  • Plastic ruler
  • Paper
  • Soap and water
  • Towel
  • Salt and pepper mixture

Instructions

    • 1

      Place the salt and pepper mixture on a piece of paper.

      Thoroughly clean a clear, plastic ruler with soap and water and dry it with a towel.

    • 3

      Thoroughly rub the ruler with wool on both sides to develop static electricity.

    • 4

      Carefully lower the ruler into the salt and pepper mixture. The salt will remain on the paper, and the pepper will lift onto the ruler.

    • 5

      Carefully lift the ruler onto a separate piece of paper or directly into the pepper container and brush off the pepper.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can also use a piece of plastic or Plexiglas instead of a ruler.
