How to Make a CD Cover Insert
A professional-looking CD-ROM cover insert can make a major difference in any audio packaging presentation. So what if it is home grown? it doesn't have to scream out "Made from Home!" With graphics software, audio tracks can be identified on the inside cover insert; disc labels can be informative with text laid out just right for visual appeal; and front and back covers can be colorful or stand out in neutral shades of gray.

Tips & Warnings
Most graphics-oriented software provides templates for making CD-ROM labels and inserts. Some include Microsoft Publisher, PageMaker and countless others. Just make sure that your graphical software of choice has options to create disc labels and booklets or cover inserts. Use paper specifically for CD-ROM graphics, since they typically have perforated indentations for the circular disc labels.
