Erectile dysfunction or impotence is a frustrating problem for many men. Even the well-known and effective drugs to treat this problem take time to work. In the case of Cialis, its effects start from 30 minutes to 6 hours after the drug is taken. Fortunately, there is a way in which this process can be accelerated. If you can increase your levels of nitric oxide by making a few simple changes in your lifestyle, it might accelerate the drug's effects.

How to Make Cialis Work Faster

  1. Step 1

Take Vitamin E and Vitamin C. If you take at least 400 IU of Vitamin E, it will help preserve the endothelial lining of the blood vessels so they can expand and allow greater blood flow. Vitamin C (500 mgs) will also help keep your blood vessels unplugged and healthy.

  2. Step 2

Eat the following fruits: apricots, cantaloupe, oranges, lemons, citrus, blueberries, prunes and strawberries. These fruits will help your body produce nitric oxide, which is the bodily reaction that makes Cialis effective (see links in Resources).

  3. Step 3

Eat the following vegetables: spinach, broccoli, carrots, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, winter squashes, peppers, leafy greens, avocados and peas. These vegetables will help your body produce nitric oxide.

  4. Step 4

Make omega-3s and polyunsaturated oils a part of your daily diet. Foods rich in these are: flax seeds, fish like salmon and mackerel, canola, olive, corn, walnut and avocado oils. They help protect the endothelium, creating better blood flow and dilation (see links in Resources).

  5. Step 5

Eat foods with the amino acids l-arginine and l-citrulline. Foods rich in these are: beans, soy, almonds, walnutes, oats, salmon, tuna, mackerel, milk, peanuts and chick peas.

  6. Step 6

Daily exercise encourages blood flow and the endothelium to produce and release nitric acid (see links in Resources).

  7. Step 7

Drink water and eat at least 25 grams of fiber a day.
