Add a couple years to your dog's life by taking care of his teeth. Clean teeth will prevent infections, diseases and your dog will have fresh breath all the time.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • unscented baby wipes
  • old tooth brush
  1. Step 1

Let your dog get acquainted with the unscented baby wipe by allowing him to sniff it for a few seconds. This will allow your pooch to see there's no harm with the wipe.

  2. Step 2

Wrap the wipe around your finger.

  3. Step 3

Slip your wrapped finger into your dog mouth and gently massage all this teeth. Pay extra attention to those teeth who have a lot of plaque.

  4. Step 4

Take one of your old tooth brushes or a dog tooth brush and gently brush his teeth if he permits. Allow your dog to drink water right after brushing to remove loose plaque.

  5. Step 5

Repeat these steps at least once a day to prevent plaque build-up which can lead to other problems including an expensive trip to the vets.
