Learn how to safely clean your LCD screen on your television or computer monitor. You must do this correctly or you could ruin your screen.

Instructions

Step 1

To clean your LCD Monitor, you first need to make your cleaning solution. You can purchase cleaning solutions form stores but don't waste your money on them. You can make your own that is better and obviously cheaper.
Step 2

You need to get distilled water alcohol/vinegar. Mix the water and alcohol/vinegar with a 1:1 ratio in a spray bottle.
Step 3

Make sure that you turn off our television or computer monitor before cleaning.
Step 4

Do not spray the mixture directly onto the screen. Only spray your mixture on your cleaning rag.
Step 5

Make sure to wipe the screen gently. I would suggest using a micro fiber cloth like the one pictured above. Wipe horizontally to lessen the amount of streaks left behind.
Step 6

Let the screen completely try before turning the screen back on.

Tips & Warnings

Try to minimize the amount of times you touch your screen with your fingers. The oils in your hand can begin to eat away at the coating that protects your screen.
Do not use an abrasive cloth as this might damage your screen.
Never use windex to clean an LCD.
