  • Baking sheet
  • Cooking spray, butter or other grease for baking sheet
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 box cake mix
  • Medium bowl

      Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease baking sheet.

      Mix oil, eggs and cake mix in a medium bowl. If desired, stir in plain or flavored instant oatmeal, raisins, dried cranberries, nuts or chocolate chips.

      Spoon batter onto baking sheet, leaving two to three inches between cookies.

      Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Allow to cool one to two minutes on baking sheet before removing.

  • Begin checking your cookies sheets at the earliest baking time and keep a close eye on them until they are done.

  • Only place cookie dough on cool cookie sheets to prevent melting and excessive spreading.

  • Use heavy duty dull or shiny metal cookie sheets for best results. Avoid using non-stick and/or dark cookie sheets.
