How to Decorate a Child's Room With Trains

Install shelves in the room, and place toy trains on them. In addition, put some books about trains on the shelves, such as "The Polar Express."

Purchase a train-themed bedding set (see Resources). Add some train-themed drapes.

Paint some trains on the walls. If this is too artistic for your talents, hang some purchased artwork instead, or photos of your child standing next to or on some trains.

Set up a model train set. This can be done on a train table or even on top of a wide dresser.

Hang a railroad crossing sign on the wall. Add wooden pegs and you have a coat rack that has a real train theme (see Resources).
