Macintosh Leopard dock is an animated menu located on a Mac OS X desktop that stores programs and applications that are installed on your Macintosh. It allows you to launch programs quickly and conveniently without having to go through the applications folder on your hard drive. The Leopard dock can be given a makeover, to change its original factory look. By downloading a different dock, you can give your dock a more creative exciting look.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Select a Leopard dock free (see Resources). Click "Download" to download it to your Macintosh desktop.

  2. Step 2

Double-click your Mac HD, then click the "Systems Folder." Open the Library folder, then open the "Core Services." Right-click on dock in the core services folder, then click "Show Package Contents."

  3. Step 3

Navigate to the Content/Resources. Then backup the files scurve-s.png, scurve-m.png, scurve-l.png, scurve-xl.png and frontline.png. Delete them after backing them up.

  4. Step 4

Copy and paste the downloaded dock on your desktop into the same folder to replace the ones you deleted.

  5. Step 5
