How to Create a PDF in Quark

Quark XPress is a popular desktop publishing application that is available for both PC and Mac computers. With Quark, you can design page layouts for everything from newspapers to newsletters. Then after you finish designing your layout, you can export it as a PDF file, which stands for portable document format, and open it on other computers.

Instructions

1. Open the Quark XPress application on your PC or Mac computer.

2. Use the "Open" option in the "File" menu to open the Quark file that you want to make a PDF.

3. Open the "File" menu and select the "Export Layout as PDF" option.

4. Enter in a name for the new PDF file that you will be creating and choose where to save it.

5. Select which pages in the current layout you want to include in the PDF file.

6. Click on the "Save" button to export the Quark file as a PDF.
