How to Make Ribbons in Photoshop

      Open a new document in Photoshop. In the dialog box that pops up, make the new document whatever size you want your overall document (flyer, card) to be. Click “OK.” Make the “Foreground” color whatever color you want the ribbon to be.

      Go to the “Tool” bar and select the “Custom Shape” tool. Then go to the top and go through the available shapes to get to the “ribbon.” Select this, and draw it on the canvas. We will be using this as a basis for our ribbon.

      Go to the bottom of the “Layers” panel and click on the “Blending Options." A dialog box will open.

      Click on the “Bevel and Emboss” tab. Go to the “Size” and change it to 32. Now go to “Style” and change it to “Emboss.”
