How to Make an Amazing Tortillini and Turkey Sausage Soup

This savory soup is easy and hearty, it'll seem like you spent hours in the kitchen. Combining turkey sausage, cheese tortillinis, and a mix of spices and veggies plays out into a wonderful and filling dish that every one will love. Perfect as a dinner for two or even for your guest. You can't go wrong with the turkey and tortillini. Pair this oup with a chunky bread or a sub/sandwich and enjoy!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 8 ounces smoked turkey sausage
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen Italian-style green beans 2 14 1/2 ounce cans of stewed tomatoes
  • 2 1/2 cups of shredded cabbage
  • 9 ounce package of frozen tortillinis (cheese filled)
  • 10 ounce can of French Onion soup
  • grated parmesan cheese for on top
  • 3 cups of water
  1. Step 1

    Cut sausage in half lenthwise and again into slices. Place the sausage, cabbage, water, french onion, soup, green beans and the undrained can of tomatoes into your crockpot.

  2. Step 2

    Cover and cook on low for 5 hours or on high for 8-10 hours. Stir in the tortillini, if you have the setting as low, turn it to high for this step. Cover and cook for 15 or so minutes until the tortillini is tender.

  3. Step 3

    Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

  4. Step 4

    Enjoy!
