How to Make Yummy Baked Pork Chops

If you're mouth is watering now, wait until you try these yummy porkchops. It's not very hard, and people will think you've been slaving over a hot stove for hours.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 3-4 large porkchops (bone-in)
  • 2 small cans cream of mushroom soup
  • large glass baking dish
  • water
  • cooking oil
  1. Step 1

First, add some oil to a pan and let it get hot. After you do this, throw those porkchops in and get a good high heat sear going. This will add flavor to the meat and help it cook a little bit faster while in the oven.

  2. Step 2

After you've preheated the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit, put your porkchops in your glass baking dish. Add your two cans of cream of mushroom soup with about 3/4 a can of water to thin out the soup a little bit.

  3. Step 3

Put your porkchops in the oven for approximately one and a half to two hours. Make sure that the meat is fully cooked before turning off the stove.

  4. Step 4

Your porkchops should now be ready to eat. They go very well with a starchy vegetable like potatoes or rice. The mushroom soup makes an excellent gravy over the top of them, especially with the flavoring from the porkchops.

Tips & Warnings
  • Add some spices to the meat to make it more flavorful and experiment with different types of meat as well. Chicken can be used in place of the porkchops and would be just as tasty.
  • Always be careful when using the oven as it can cause serious burns and other injuries.
  • Make sure the meat is cooked thoroughly, otherwise you could get potentially harmful bacteria in your body like salmonella, for example.
