How to Freeze Puréed Strawberries

Pureed strawberries are wonderful to keep in the freezer for a special treat. It is simple to both Puree an freeze strawberries. Just follow the steps below.

Instructions
  1. Step 1
     

    This first step to freeze pureed strawberries is to thoroughly wash them. You want to make certain to wash away any germs or bacteria. Remember that clean means healthy.

  2. Step 2

    Next you will need to cut the green tops off of each strawberry. Once the tops have been removed you can place the strawberries in a blender and puree them.

  3. Step 3
     

    Remove strawberries from the blender and pour them into plastic freezer bags. Remove as much air as possible from bags and seal each one tightly to prevent freezer burn. Now the only thing left is wiping down your counter tops, washing your knife and blender. Presto! Even the cleanup is all done. What a quick and easy recipe! These are deliciously healthy and will keep up to 6 months in the freezer. Wonderful for quick desserts or a healthy snack for the entire family.
