Things You'll Need:
- Ulitity knife
- Screw driver
- Soup and water

Step 1
Cut Off CouplerPurchase a replacement coupling kit from you local hardware store. Use the size appropriate for your hose ½”-5/8” (13-15 mm I.D.). Cut off the broken coupling from your garden hose.

Step 2
Apply Soup & Water Insert BarbIf the hose is stiff, wet the end of the hose with hot soapy water. Apply soapy water to the end of the coupler, or barb of the replacement coupler and insert into the cut end of the hose and press into the hose.

Step 3
Press InThere will be resistance but the soapy water should help make it easier to press into the hose.

Step 4
Tighten ClampAttached the clamp to the end of the hose and tighten each side equally. Test your new hose for leaks. Readjust clamp if necessary.
