Things You'll Need:
- Pet
- Pet Shampoo
- Pet Brush
- Good quality pet food
-
Step 1
Feed your pet a wholesome diet that includes essential fatty acids. This will help with their skin and coats. If your pup has dry skin, see a vet to see what supplements can be added to your pets food.
-
Step 2
Wash your pet with a pet shampoo. Do not use human shampoos on your pet. Pet shampoos are usually formulated specifically for them. Human shampoos can dry out their skin and cause more shedding.
-
Step 3
Take a few minutes a day to brush your pet. Not only will you be removing loose hair but you will also be bonding with your pet.
-
Step 4
Use fabric softener when you do laundry to help loosen pet hair. If your dryer has a lint trap, it should catch the loose pet hair.
-
Step 5
Vacuum regularly and keep lint brushes and rollers handy. A cheaper method is to pick up hair with a piece of masking tape.

on 6/8/2009 Great steps, I'm sure they work great. Another way to get rid of pet hair is using the Fur-Zoff. Its made of 90% recycled material so its a much better alternative to those sticky lint rollers and it lasts forever for about $10. You can find it at http://www.furzoff.net. Hope this helps some :)
