Step 1
Hair conditioner can be rubbed around the ring on the finger to help it ease off. Hold your fingers toward the ceiling and gently rub the area with the conditioner. The ring should slide right off the finger after a minute or two.
-
Step 2
CriscoDab a small amount of Crisco All-Vegetable Shortening around the ring and finger. Crisco will make the finger slippery enough for the ring to come right off
-
Step 3
Miracle WhipMiracle Whip smeared around the ring and finger will also help the ring to easily be removed.
-
Step 4
Preparation HUsing Preparation H to help reduce the swelling in your finger will also help ease the ring off your finger. Wait a few minutes to allow the finger to reduce in swelling and remove the ring.
-
Step 5
WD-40If you ever get a ring stuck on your finger or a toe stuck in a bathtub faucet, reach for the WD-40. Spray around the stuck body part and everything should slip out and off.
-
Step 6
WindexThe soap content in Windex will make your finger slippery enough that the ring will come right off. Just spray a little bit around the ring and finger and twist the ring gently.

on 10/21/2009 rawhyder...I want to apologize for using your image (which has been removed by me). I obviously had gotten some bad info on when and how I could use images and unfortunately, your image was one I used. Again, I apologize...Lilfix

on 6/25/2009 Having a ring stuck is so incredibly uncomfortable. All good tips here, but the WD40 tip made me laugh. haha You'd have to have someone there to grab the WD40, cause it would be hard to walk with your toe stuck in the bathtub faucet. LOL
